Overview

Perfect for the wine and food enthusiast. Our upscale gastronomic tour took us to the Tuscany we've dreamed of; from romantic castles and medieval hilltop villages to the cellars of some of the oldest and finest vineyards in Tuscany. In the rolling hillsides of the Tuscan landscape, we discovered firsthand the differences between Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan, Brunello, and Vino Nobile. Met the vintners and learned why the vines and the very soil of these centuries old vineyards are so prized. Italian wine is made to go with food, so the foodie can experience the exceptional regional cuisine in local trattorias and cafes. We stayed in a luxuriously appointed historic villa with pool and private chef. Included visits to 4 wine regions, castles, museum and garden visits, plenty of time for shopping and enjoying the villa as well as visits to some of the most beautiful and famous towns and villages in Tuscany.
